I am in a wheelchair, can I still see the shows?

Our venue offers wheelchair seating. We strive to make performances and our facility accessible to all patrons. Please be sure to mention your needs in advance by calling (808) 455-0380 so that we can reserve a location. For voice/TTY, please call (808) 455-0382.

I am in a wheelchair, where can I park my vehicle?
Accessible parking is located on the Diamond Head side of the Theatre. Be sure to use the first entrance to the campus parking lot--the first left after making a right on to Ala ‘Ike.

I have a hearing difficulty, can I still see the shows?
Our venue offers assisted-listening headphones for performances Please be sure to mention your needs in advance by calling (808) 455-0386. For voice/TTY, please call (808) 455-0382.

Policy Regarding Children

Can I bring my children, young cousins or little siblings to the shows?
We are committed to provide quality cultural experiences for audience members of all ages, although some performances may not be suitable for young children. Regardless of age, all children must have a ticket. We ask that children attending performances sit quietly throughout the entire performance.

How much are the handling charges on my order?
All orders made through our online ticket service and phone are subject to a $2.00-per-order handling charge. There will be no handling fees for tickets ordered in person at our Box Office; orders placed by mail, by fax, by phone, or online will still be subject to handling charges. Please noted that all credit card purchases will appear as UH Athletics on you bill.

How are my ticket orders being processed?
We process your orders in the following manner.

  • You receive the confirmation from EticketHawaii.com that your orders are being processed.
  • We receive a notice from the Ticket Web Host that your orders are awating to be completed.
  • We instruct the computer system to print out your tickets and mail them or hold at Will Call
  • If your orders are received seven days or fewer prior to the performance, your tickets will be held at our Will Call Table on the performance date.
  • If you put down "Will Call", your tickets will be held at our Will Call Table. IDs required when you pick up the tickets.
  • When and where will I receive my tickets?
    If your order is received seven days or fewer prior to the performance, your tickets will be held at our Will Call Table on the performance date.

    What if I haven’t received my tickets?
    If you do not receive your tickets within 14 business days of placing your order, please call 808-455-0385 or send an email to Theatre Manager.

    Can I pick my seat where your performance is noted as a reserved seating event?
    When it is noted as a reserved seating event, ticket orders are placed on best seats available at the time your order.

    I sometimes can't get a hold of your staff at the Box Office, how do I contact your Box Office?
    We depend on student assistants to man the Box Office, so the hours change each semester depending on their class schedules. We try to keep the hours as consistent as possible. Even when the Box Office is closed, you can call the Eticket Hawaii hotline at 483-7123 from 9-5 M-F.

    The staff checks messages left on 455-0385 daily during the performance season so you can always leave your name and a phone number and we can call you back. If you have questions we can best answer.

    Seating Policy

    When should I arrive?
    We recommend you arrive on campus at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance to provide yourself with enough time to find parking and take your seat.

    What if I am late to a performance, can I still see the performance?
    Our effort is to start performances at the advertised hour unless there is an unavoidable delay. In respect to our audience members who are seated prior to show time, late arriving guests will be seated only at time designated by the artists and their production artistic staff. This policy also applies to audience members who may step out of the Theatre during a performance. We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to performances to find parking and to take your seat before the curtain rises.

    What if I can’t make it to the performance?
    Tickets are nonrefundable, except in cases of cancelled events.
