Lakota Sioux Dance Theatre, Henry Smith- Director Sunday, September 21 at 7 pm $23 Adults
$19 Students, Seniors (60+), Military
Dance and music play as important a role in the Lakota Sioux culture as they do for Hawaiian and other indigenous people around the world. Likewise there is a depth beyond stereotypes you may have seen in film and television. It has been over a decade since the group last performed in Hawai‘i, and given the enthusiastic reception from audiences, that is far too long between visits. Their performances are in high demand but they are always as pleased to perform in Hawai‘i as we are to have them.
